Materahub is an international “platform” of innovative projects to foster sustainable local development through the valorisation of creative people & local heritage. Materahub is a consortium of Cultural & Creative Enterprises established in 2011 and since then Materahub team has worked with more than 150 public and private organisations in over 20 European countries. Materahub is one of the Europe Direct Centres financed by European Commission promoting calls for tenders and opportunities for youth, local institutions, businesses, schools and third sector. Materahub is co-founder of the cluster of cultural and creative industries operating in Basilicata. The Cluster brings together over 60 excellent companies in the local and national scene. The CNR (National Research Council), ENEA (National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development) and the University of Basilicata are also associated to the Cluster.
