As a higher education institution with a dynamic Centre for Lifelong Learning at its heart, PAR develops its educational programs having in mind the growing need for an interdisciplinary and all-encompassing approach to education. The Centre for Lifelong Learning is tightly integrated into the University College’s structure, providing formal and non-formal education programs, which are developed and planned in advance. Based on previously collected statistics information, analyses, labour market needs and inputs by private and public sector stakeholders, the Centre develops new and innovates standard curricula by following current trends and incorporating modern processes and teaching methods. Sharing this knowledge will be the most important input of this organization.
Through its educational programs, PAR encourages the integration of human capital, employability and competitiveness, which is highlighted in the European Commission's New Agenda for Skills. As an educational pioneer in Croatia, it encourages the acquisition of a wide range of capacities for personal achievement and development, social inclusion, active citizenship and employment. These skills represent crucial transferable skills for future jobs and need to be developed from pre-school and early school age.
