The project partners GO! Unescoschool and GO! De Toverfluit elementary schools invited their school communities in Belgium to a multiplier event in October 2022, with an aim to spread the word around SIDiT.
Teachers and headmasters from Belgian elementary schools discussed new approaches on how to cultivate inclusivity in the classroom. Guray Turkistan, principal of the GO! Unescoschool and Sabine Vanheeswijck, principal of the GO! Toverfluit introduced SIDiT, as an innovative educational practice and presented the results of the project from a two years’ implementation in their schools. Vasiliki Katsomaliari, Project Coordinator of SIDiT on behalf of the lead partner, Goethe-Institut Athen, shared more information on the framework and the vision of the project. Teachers from the two schools gave a more practical note with reference to the online didactic materials, a moment of reflection for all teachers, which concluded the workshop.
